The Anglican Church in North America
The Anglican Church in North America is a newly constituted National Church made up of more 800 Parishes and over 150,000 faithful Anglicans within the North American Continent. It's birth and growth has been spurred by the errancy of modernism and the theological misinterpretations of God's Sacred Scripture.
Inso much, the ACNA is Biblically sound, beliving in the infalibility of God's most holy word, and seeks to heal the drift of other national churches as they continue to seek to emulate society.
The ACNA strongly believes, that it is the Church that must reform society, not society that must reform the church.
Membership in the Anglican Communion
Christ the King Anglican Church is a Forward in Faith North America (FIFNA) congregation, and part of the Anglican Church in North America.
Although the Archbishop of Canterbury, The Most Rev'd Rowan Williams, 104th Archbishop of Canterbury has yet to recognize the Anglican Church in North America, he has recognized the Anglican Communion Network and Forward in Faith, NA, as “full members of the Anglican Communion,” (South South Meeting III Alexandria Egypt, October 2005)
There is, what is known as a 'Private Party Motion.' to recognize the ACNA as being in Communion with the Church of England. This motion is expected to be brought before the next Synod of the Church of England, February 2010.
We pray that God's will be done!
Our Mission
As a worshiping body, our mission is to enrich the community and work towards the re-establishment of those Anglo-Catholic traditions that have brought so much to the world. We are tireless in our efforts to proclaim the unchangeable Gospel and to offer the sacrifice of the Mass for both the living and the dead.
We offer to all, an opportunity to revive and restore within themselves the broken nature of our humanity and offer reconciliation and spiritual healing for all those who long for a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
